Simply humbling to find something so wonderful 25m beneath your feet. A fitting monument to lives lost in finding this cave system. A true testament to French determination presenting a worthwhile attraction for the area.

About 30 mins from our gite we stumbled on these caves. Only relatively recently opened and not yet as well known as other grottes in the Dordogne, they are worth a visit. The visitor facilities are being upgraded so it looks like a building site...More

Enchanting cave that is accessible for users of a wheelchair, our compliments! Do hire an audio guide or plan your visit during a moment their are tours in your own language.
