Acceptable drinks though no soya milk available. Good atmosphere, limited seating. Drinks a little overpriced but that is the way in Bordeaux.

Have you ever drunk coffee in a church? What about watching a movie there as well? This place is as unique as it gets. And what was the coffee like? Well, I don’t really remember but the light coming through the stained glasses made it...More

The cafe was disappointing. Even tho the place's deco is cool being inside of an old church... the staff is just not good enough. Bad mood young girl that was pissed of serving us. Normal coffee. Shared small toilets.

Wherever we travel we try to search out cinemas with character. The Utopia is one of the very best and most beautiful cinemas we have ever visited. Try and attend a show in the old cinema.

Below the stained glass style window one can see the rows of tables and chairs with people drinking away and enjoying the surroundings of this lovely little square

A rare gem in Bordeaux, and one I always show to my visits! Located in Camille Julian square, one of the most beautiful of Bordeaux and spot on the centre, it even has a quaint cafe with a great terrasse. The cinema itself is mainly...More

Such a lovely little treat to head off to the movies on a rainy winter afternoon. Loads of movie options. Small quirky cinemas with comfy seats in an old renovated church. Located on a lovely little square with loads of cafe, pre-movie options to complete...More

We entered this establishment which reminded me of the 1960s. This facility, an old church, has been turned into a series of small cinemas where they show really specialised films of excellent quality. Many of them are French but subtitles are available. We got hold...More

Really quirky setting in old church in an area full of bars and restaurants. A fantastic cinema experience for real film buffs

Sorry I missed this one. I believe it is air-conditioned but I couldn't be sure. I was there in the winter and I recall taking my coat off so that's probably my a good sign that it was.
