Even on a Sunday when most of the shops are shut, this is a busy old place.
Nice sculptures, architecture & the grand opera house.

This is a nice area in Bordeaux, but it can get very busy at times. There's alot of nice buildings around, and the tram goes right threw the middle.

Sitting in the center of Bordeaux this boasts the Intercontinental hotel and sits opposite the theater. Excellent.

If you want to see what the French are like away from the tourists, this is your area. There are great restaurants, cafes, and other reasons to visit, including one of my favorite sculptures in Bordeaux, the Jaume Plensa elongated head scupture. Drink an espresso on a terrace cafe and people watch. You'll have a great time and you can nurse it for an hour without complaint.

This is one of the most vibrant squares in Bordeaux. It enjoys a certain structural anarchy that gives it great charm. It is surrounded by large buildings, the Grand Theatre is the most representative. It also serves as a link between different areas of the city.

The theater square: lively and pulsating with life. It is pleasant to pass by and stop for a moment to admire what surrounds you.

Place de la Comédie is bordered by superb buildings very well maintained. This square is at the crossroads of everything: access to Sainte Catherine Street, tram stops... Hotels and restaurants are on site.

You want to see people? Then you'll see some. Bicycles, pedestrians, trams, the square is a perpetual intertwining of lives and mobiles that intersect. I wonder if it's not the busiest square in town.
However, for those who want to bother, it is at the crossroads. The Grand Theatre rises like a block in front of you? Anyway, your gaze is lost on Tourny's alleys, the Stewardship course the red hat.
Then what to do? Sit on a terrace, sip a lemon juice to enjoy the spectacle of life. People cross paths, others look for each other and others expect. Nice, isn't it?
