Walking or biking in this lovely forest brings you closer to nature. It's a nice long route which after about 12 kilometers brings you in Wantsenau from the Strasbourg way. Before you reach Wantsenau there is a cute small nature reserve with picnic facilities where wild birds are protected and even black swans remind you of the Oscar winning film.... More

This is a lovely park with loads of good walks. The park has a nice chateau which can be rented for receptions and private does. Around the park is a natural forest. The cycling and walking "piste des forts" is particularly good and provides a safe environment for children and dogs.

It was great to be back at this wonderful park where one can spend hours walking or bicycling. By 7.30 p.m. it was almost dark inside the park because of the shade provided by massive trees along the main paths. There are many places to have a picnic or just sit and rest. There is also a place with two... More

Be sure to notice statues hidden throughout. Some of them are really interesting I think the artist had a little twisted mind. The parc is big and very nice -- looks old and serves as a entrance to huge forest you can really fell the nature there.

great place to visit and spend an afternoon for a picnic or a stroll. Beautiful park, trees, contemporary art. Too bad there's no hotel in this area. The woods are just soooo nice.

We had a large group of people celebrating a wedding anniversary with set menu . The setting is great in the forest with lots of room to go walk , cycle , explore the nature around. The food was excellent , the best filet steak for one. The service by 'Pauline' was excellent , at not time did one feel... More

Parc du Chateau de Pourtales is a very large and beautiful park and it would be better to have a bicycle to explore this park. I took public transportation so I had already walked quite a bit when I arrived in the park. I spent only one hour and half walking around in this huge park. I kept to the... More
