I've taken to trying to visit as many "Musées des Beaux-Arts" as I can while living in France. Compared to others, this one was significantly smaller, but well designed. Worth a visit if you are interested in art.

I love paintings and the artwork in this museum was accessible and amazing. How often can you stand inches from a Raphael?

This museum is inside the Rohan palace and has a good display of art from 14th century to 20th century and a few sculptures and bronzes. Not all is portrait art or religious art which is nice to see and you can find some still life and landscape paintings which is pleasant to see. The blackcurrant tart (1641) by W.... More

We had bought a day pass (€12 per adult) and started off in the three museums in the Rohan palace. The Fine Arts museum had a nice set of paintings from mediaeval to 19th century. We had a pleasant time looking at beautiful art.

Decided to go in because of pouring rain but made a great decision to rest awhile seeing the importance of this museum, neatly presented, great collections from 15th to 19th century but I think it's limited and I would suggest that they should more of those classical works that tells about the greatness of Strasbourg.

Nice venue. Collection of predominantly paintings from 1500. Till 1900. Average quality with some notable positive exceptions. Good address for a couple of interesting hours.

Surprisingly rich collection in a beautiful setting (Palais de Rohan). Some medieval and Renaissance masterpieces for connoisseurs! The 17th to 19th century collection also has some lovely pieces

Very impressive little museum in charming palace-like building; close to the main touristic spot (the Cathedral).

Perhaps I'm spoiled, but I really think this beautiful city deserves more paintings of a variety of artists. I think there is an emphasis on local artists.
