Small but a nice place.

Small botanical garden, but lots of plants and places to sit (incl. benches). Good place for a picnic.

Make sure to check out the tropical greenhouse, especially in the winter. The plants are beautiful and worth the visit.

I wasn't planning to step in, but I was near and had a spare hour. It turned out the admission is free so I walked. Starts as a typical botanical garden but then a little magic happens. A beautiful small lake, all covered in lily with bamboos on the shore really enamored me. Then the glass building with palms and... More

The gardens do not open until 2:00 PM so keep this in mind if you go. It was very hot the day we went, but there is a nice pond where you can sit and watch the birds. We saw white breasted water hens. Huge thistles and a rosemary bush were really nice. In the conservatory I saw the plant... More

A very pleasant afternoon can be spent here, to walk and look, or just sit in a peaceful spot. The layout is fairly typical for a European university based botanical garden, and it of course has a primary use as a learning and research area. However, it's flowing design takes you from theme to theme, rock and scree plants, woodland... More

We walked from our hotel in Petite France and very much enjoyed our visit. Being that it was spring there were lots of flowers in bloom and it looked as though some new plantings had been done. Nice stroll from the square!

We went there at winter. The opening hours were just 14-16 in the evening. The entrance is free. But there are little too see nothing extraordinary compared to other gardens(like In Frankfurt). It is 30-40minutes walk from the centre ,behind the university.Would not recommend it!

This was a lovely stop on our journey, even in the rain. Our walk through the beautiful gardens was very pleasant. We hadn't planned on going there, but saw a sign for the garden. It was free, as was the parking (I think), so we were glad we made this stop.

An excellent place to have a walk to relax and have a break. There is a good variety of plants and this year in september they had an amazing pumpkin garden: something I've never seen anywhere else.
