This cathedral shows beautiful light reflections and a splendid architecture. Very impressive and must see in Strasburg. It is good to see on a sunny day to see the different colors of the light reflection on the building. Inside beautiful cross and glass work.

Worth visiting Strasbourg just for the cathedral. We visited here twice during the day and once at night. The interior is impressive and no detail was missed here by the builders. The stained glass is beautiful and the wood carvings are very intricate. The exterior is just as impressive. We came back again just to see the astronomical clock at... More

Go here! Free entrance, lovely cathedral, and an interesting astrological clock. Near there, notice the dedication to the American Soldiers who fought for the Alsace.

Beauty and ecstasy. Grandeur and brilliance are at home. You feel like a speck in the universe. Magnificent. The silence found in the soul a wonderful cathedral. Do not hesitate, it's a unique opportunity,

This cathedral is a very impressive one given it gets little press compared to some of its cousins in larger French cities. The outside is so intricate and far more detailed than Notre Dame in Paris. The inside however is very much in the style of what you'd imagine it being hundreds of years ago. No bright lighting and massive... More

We visited this cathedral at some time each day during our week in Strasbourg. It is good to see it many times in different light and weather to experience it's almost transcendent beauty.

This Cathedral is more than just a big church. The detailled decoration shows a lot of history, as well as the astronomical clock and money-pit. Furthermore, being in the middle of the city, you can climb up the tower to admire the surroundings from the top-roof of this secular building, and imagine how priests must have felt in the older... The admission was free for our visit. Once inside you can buy a guide in multiple languages for $1 euro. It is well worth the euro for it gives you a lot of background information and history on the cathedral and individual elements inside. The ornate detail of this cathedral goes beyond description and needs to be seen for yourself.... More

It is one of the highest and well preserved cathedral in France. The bell tower is surmounted by an arrow.
