We stopped here during our visit to Strasborg. The Cathedral is impressive from both the interior and exterior. Admission is free and it was pretty crowded; there was a clock chime inside that went off while we were there.

Did a self tour of the cathedral. One word describes it, beautiful. It can be seen from all over the city. And the square in front is an ever changing sea of people from all over the world.

The tower is visible from many parts of Strasbourg but it is not until you get up close that this stunning Gothic masterpiece can be really appreciated. The ornate masonry and especially the huge carved doors at the main entrance are a sight to behold....More

If you visit Strasbourg this is the most attractive place to visit. In the season you habe to wait to acces the Cathedral but it is worth waiting. It's impresive with all the details, inside and outside.

It was quite busy at the time of my visit, many coffee shops & restaurants serving around the place good meals, prices were as almost other places. Stunning cathedral with a Gothic architecture witness of a rich history.

Most of what you will see is inside and a small part is outside with cover for rain and wind. I've not been in December, but my son was and said it's the perfect time to go.
