This was a good little overview of Colmar. The commentary in English was interesting however there wasn't much of it on the 35 line journey maybe half commentary half music. If there was more commentary would be a 5

We had never visited Colmar before. We got on the train,it really helped us view this wonderful place. It helped us with what the rest of the day bought! With about 9 language translations it's great for everyone. Very impressed.

Some activities are especially designed to cater to tourists. This Tourist Train (TT) fits that description. Excellent sight-viewing for the elderly. Practical for those toting infants. For the Sporty it is the Route that is inspirational: to see the best points of interest. If you walk in the opposite direction of that taken by the TT you will see them coming...

While the main part of Colmar is not spread out over large area the streets are narrow and meandering. Easy to get disorientated if trying to follow the tourist map for the first time. For only 6.50 Euros you can get a 45 minute tour of the city center with highlights. The tour comes in 11 languages. Easy to find... More

We took the petite train through Colmar to the Petite Venice area....what a delight! They have headphones programmed for a myriad of languages. The cost was a mere 6 Euros and well worth it. You get a good understanding of the city of Colmar, and the Petite Venice area....without the train you may miss some interesting and scenic areas. After... More

It is a classic tourist activity. It goes to all the touristic places. It is a nice way to explore the city.

We took the train mostly for the kids, but the adults enjoyed it as well because it was a nice ride through key areas of the town. It was also a great way to become familiar with the layout and decide on areas we wanted to come back and visit further on the remainder of the trip. We thought the... More

Yes it is a bit touristy to do this, but regain some of your childish joy and take the little train. It took us around many of the local streets, weaving in and out of the town and giving informed commentary via headsets in your chosen language. Half and hour of fun and information. A thumbs up for the little... More

Could be somewhat interesting, only if they get the basics right. I mean the audio commentary could hardly be heard, through the severely distorted earphones. Very little explanation about the sights and buildings. Its a rushed tour that you can easily walk. Just get the maps from the tourist information office opposite.
