Firstly, the bar is upstairs next to the brewery to the left as you face it. Up to 20 taps on draft. Nice artwork. Light wood seating - stools, benches - gentle background music. Cards only. Some superb beers. Very fresh too !

We loved this place!!! My boyfriend loved the beer, I loved that they had a gin and really cool unusual soft drinks to mix from a local producer. The venue is somewhere you could spend sometime. If this place buys a few board games for...More

In my opinion the beer of the moment. Fantastic modern bar with the full array of their beers to sample. Very friendly staff and they have a great shop too selling ales and merchandise. Definitely one to put high on your list to visit. Cheers

Ok, so I love Cloudwater beers so this will be quite a biased review. I spend quite a bit, per can and on tap, to drink this away from Manchester. So I was prepared to spend LOTS when visiting this place. Imagine my surprise and...More

We’ve just been asked to leave the premises because we have our 8 month old daughter with us. There are no notices, and we’d been standing there for about 10 minutes with the pram. I won’t be heading back

Producing some of the best quality craft beer in the UK at present, Cloudwater are a must if you get the chance to drop in to their barrel room. At £3 a beer flat rate on draught it’s a great deal, and an authentic experience...More

Very disappointed with this brewery tour and tasting. There was no tour to speak of. The group just stood in the middle of the production room whilst a very poor talk was given to explain how they make the beer. The guy conducting the tour...More

Great beer tour. Very knowledgeable brewer. He made it very interesting without getting too technical. This seems to be a labour of love rather than an attempt to make a lot of money. New brews all the time, 150 planned for the coming year! And...More

They seem a very laid back bunch, but I think you'd need to email them to get a definitive answer on that one!

I didn't see anything up to say you couldn't bring children, but I'd probably advise against it - it's just a warehouse of benches with people drinking and there's nothing to hold a child's interest.
