No sign of him or anybody else. No answer from his mobile. I assume he got no other bookings so just didn't bother to show up

The experience of many of the reviwers was similarto ours. We were very disappointed by the tour. The inappropritely unprofessional manner of the guide was quite unsuited to conducting a tour and we would certainly not recommend a tour with him.More

The individual who wrote this never actually came on the tour he's criticised but instead gate-crashed late with his rude, arrogant, aggressive friends who lost their tempers for no apparent reason and spoiled the tour for everyone. The reviewer says he was disappointed with the...More

I took my friend, who was on a short visit from Paris, to the Hidden Art Treasures of Manchester tour yesterday and we loved it. We found our tour guide Ed to be informed, entertaining and clearly passionate about the subject, this made for a...More

Thanks so much. So nice to be appreciated. I've put massive amounts of work into that tour, which is one of the hardest on the circuit but I'm always leaning more, given the nature of the subject.

Went into Manchester for the 24 Jan ‘Victoria Park in Winter’ walk, having looked forward to it for some time. Found I was the only one to arrive at the start. Weather was fine. Walk leader told me abruptly that the walk would not run...More

You're absolutely right but it's no fun taking one person on such a detailed, long and involved tour. It's not then a tour but one person talking incessantly to another for two hours. It's a difficult conundrum. I do some 500 tours a year. About...More

Manchester appears to be one giant building site at the moment but among all the forgettable office blocks, shops, apartments and student flats there are – it seems – some real gems of world class quality. The Birth of the Cool walk shows you some...More

I booked myself and some Irish/Canadian visitors on a special Charles Dickens's Manchester tour to coincide with the Manchester Literary Festival. It was a superb way to get new insights into some familiar parts of the city and to discover fascinating facts about places that...More
