Plenty of buses to see with lots of older ones also. We were able to go inside many of the buses. The were was also a Metrolink vehicle to see. There was even one bus that had last been used as a caravan and was presently being restored. Had lunch in the café. Steak pie and mushy peas very reasonably... More

This is an excellent museum to visit-it was my first visit in 15 years and was glad to see recent history, such as the D-reg minibus and the Metrobus in First Manchester livery, represented. The free bus from Manchester Victoria on special events is great. Entry price seems fair to me; I'll definitely be visiting again on another special event.

We visited as part of a car club – and found the staff friendly and helpful. The museum has many interesting old vehicles (Busses, trolly busses, etc.), some restored, a few awaiting restoration, which, in some ways, made them more interesting. There were also some interesting videos showing which were associated with the exhibits – very good. The cafe is... More

A very interesting museum to spend a couple of hours. You don't need to be a Transport or bus enthusiast to appreciate the exhibits. Its interesting to see how transport has changed in the last twenty year not to mention the las 100! To make the most of a visit its worth looking on their web site to see when... More

My kids love this museum, we visit most holidays. It costs almost nothing to get in, and it's easy to park outside. The children love going upstairs on the old buses and doing the quiz. The staff are happy to chat and answer questions. For adults it's a fascinating look into Manchester's transport history. A great way to spend a... More
