Was initially surprised by this but after reading the info it all made sense. This is well worth seeing and is actually a very very good statue

This statue of Abraham Lincoln is a great statue and is a must see. Nearly life size it is a great place for a photo opportunity. It is located near Central Park and easily accessible to the public.

I passed this statue many times without knowing the exact reason for the statue being in Manchester. Recognises the place of Manchester and the north west on the international stage. The statue has some history on the plaque. A nice place to have a sandwich...More
