It's not a huge area~ but it makes you feel like you're in a more exotic area. Packed with restaurants and shops. The main focus is a Chinese gate in the centre square. Worth a visit.

Easy to reach location with lovely Chinese restaurants. Weekends is always super. Best to book in advance if you can. Most of them serve quality chinese food.

I got excited when I saw the Chinese gate, but there were a few Chinese restaurants before the gate and a couple of Chinese food stores in basements and up steps. Not really the experience I was expecting.

Visited Chinatown and it was beautiful! We went in some shops and there was so much you could buy and look at. Brilliant for anyone to go to and have a look around.

I was really interested to check out Chinatown in Manchester. Sadly, it seemed scruffy, run down, rather faded signs in need of a face lift.

The craft shop does have a small selection of traditional Chinese dresses - it's situated directly opposite the pagoda and gardens.
