Great place to visit. Loads of shops for ingredients if your into eastern cooking. If you ever go here make sure you visit ho's bakery, they do savoury and sweet buns and cakes and it's out of this world! I make sure I visit here everytime am in Manchester. Keep up the good work.

Looks traditional but it looks rather dirty and messy. Supermarkets around are also packed-full but they have a range of food

Last time I visited Chinatown was about 10 years ago and then it was interesting enough to try a few restaurants and shops - if you're into Asian cuisine of course. Now the place is dirty and smelly. Nothing seducing about the place any more .......

This must be the cheapest place to eat ever and of course plenty of oriental atmosphere. We had a help yourself buffet with drinks for two for less than £20 in a cellar place and the queue was out on to the street.

Came with my partner we love Chinese food ate in a couple of restaurants here! Great selection of resturants ranging in price and styles! Needs a bit of TLC in terms of cleanliness. Would definitely come again and recommend a visit to anyone if they love Chinese grub!

Had a meal on various occasions in china town, some buffet style and some not. Some places more expensive so you can find something to suit your budget. Nice for a lunch when shopping. The Chinese arch is beautiful. Could do with a bit more cleaning round the side of the restaurants as can be very dirty. Rubbish piled up.... More

Ok so we came here on a Winters day where everything was bleak and gray but I couldn't see how creat it could potentially be as I was so distracted by all the litter! It was covering everything. We walked through as fast as we could and did not even look at the shops and resturants

I like china town - it is small and there is not a lot to see but there are plenty of restaurants offering a choice of options for food. It's nice to experience the diversity of Manchester.

Comparing to Chinatown in London it is too old with too few shops to look around. It doesn't look clean either. There were very few visitors on a Sunday night.
