I attended the New Years eve party. I have to say I was impressed with whole evening, the decor and ambiance was excellent. We had a 5 course meal which was absolutely delicious. There was also live singing from two Broadway and West end stars which was fantastic. The night could not have been any better. Thank you

I attended the Monastery Manchester for a business function. The staff were very helpful and the food was excellent. I would most certainly recommend this establishment.

I attended the monastery on 3/12/16 for our works party and can honestly say it's the worst event I've ever been to. The food was dreadful, service appalling (40 minute wait between courses) an hour queue at the bar and very understaffed. I did a review on their website and was informed that if I provided my details someone would... More

This was my second year at The Monastery for Christmas lunch and a talk about the restoration work. This time I took along a friend. The food was excellent, the staff friendly and efficient, the setting magnificent, the talk inspiring, and the other guests were great fun. I and my friend, who travelled up from the midlands just to be... More

I have sung here on several occasions. The acoustic is magical. The staff are helpful, worth trying out this restored gem.

This was our first visit, it won't be our last. . My review is based on first impressions, the monastery was fantastically lit inside and you feel the history of the place all around you. Of course we had a date with G4 and didn't get the opportunity to view everywhere and see the whole building but that's why it... More

Loved the building and history of the place. I had no idea it even existed until I made a business visit there and so pleased I did. A great venue but also still abig part of the local life.

A beautiful and memorable day filled with singing, music, meditation, dancing and a lovely meal, in a fantastic setting, couldn't ask for more.

I was privileged to attend a Christmas function here with the magical Lucinda Drayton. It was a perfect afternoon- stunning architecture, wonderful company (I'd come on my own but was made to feel so welcome!)....pure magic! The monastery is well worth visiting and they hold various spiritual events during the year. It's also available for weddings. Wow!!

We had planned our works Christmas party back in April. £45 a head which we didn't mind as the night sounded great. What a disappointment the night was. We queued about 40 minutes to get served at a type of bar. The food took an absolute age to come out. Soup was ok, but the main course was appalling. Lots... More
