A great family experience to walk the park for Bonfire night. A truly massive park, with everything you need for a great trip out!

Went for a nice long walk with my daughter and her dog in Heaton Park. We stopped at The Stables Cafe for a break. I was pleasantly surprised to see such a nice place in Heaton Park. We had a nice cup of tea. She had a chip butty - she said it was tasty (it didn't appeal to me).... More

Fantastic park and I'm there every other day walking the dogs and running as well as kids and general walking..☺️ A few folk think they own the park and want to stop runners and dogs walkers enjoying the park too.🙄 The cafe is more expensive than a motorway service station with a kit Kat at £1.20!! Which is ok with... More

A great park to have a walk and take some time off the city. The lake is particularly nice to see and have a tour on a boat. You can also use the old-school trains to take a nice view of the park. Particularly nice during bonfire night (5th of November).

This is a great park with loads of space and plenty to do. When our children were younger we used to travel miles for a day out at a good park. We now take our grandchildren to Heaton park and get all the benefits without the boring journies.

Family and dog friendly, nice cafe by lake, tram museum closed when we visited but could be worth a visit. Amateur golfing is recommended.

I live local to the Park so I often take my dogs walking there. Nice big park with a couple of children's play areas and plenty of open space if you want to have a kick about with friends. There is also a boat lake that you can hire boats on.

We went early and parked up. Quite well organised but could have done with a bit more assistance to get the lines of cars right. It was just going dark so we went thru security and onto the field. Having not been to th display we weren't sure we're the bonfire or fireworks would be but somebody was not n... More

I used to live right beside this park and have now moved slightly further afield but still drive over with the dog whenever I can. In the last couple of years it's really come on. The house is being regenerated, there's a good coffee shop/restaurant (have the hot chocolate), and the lakeside restaurant is coming along too with good ice... More
