You can normally get round the whole gallery in an hour or so but the exhibitions change frequently enough that you can keep going back.

Easy to get to by bus, worth visiting as it has the second largest textile collection in the country, after the V&A. There is also an excellent cafe.

Exhibits not given the space deserved. Very clean. Ordering a tea and a basic snack in the cafe was shambolic.

What a beautiful gallery and the cafe was very good too. The Architecture, the interior spaces, the old and new, all inspirational and worth including in a trip itinerary

The Greenheys car park, just off Denmark Road, barely two blocks from the Whitworth, is lovely. £1/hour, with a parking attendant.
