This is a lovely place to be on a sunny day. The Wellington pub is a tourist attraction in itself. We had a lovely meal there one evening. An oasis in the middle of the city!

Love to visit The Shambles when the sun's blazing, the whole area becomes a magnet for visitors and locals on a lunchtime. Great place to sit and have a beer & watch the world go by. Always found it to have a very friendly atmosphere.

Good atmosphere, just had a few drinks with friends. This was Friday night so it got a bit rowdy. Manchester needs to clean up its streets though, filthy in places.

Great contrast of these classic pubs mixed with the modern buildings giving the area a new lease of life. The outside area was lively, the wellington was full, Sinclair's had some space upstairs, scruffy charm best describes it with colourful characters all around.
