A beautiful place to walk around with woodland, river bank and gardens. Cafe could do to sell a better range of hot snacks. Toilets need to be open all the time.

Decided to visit the gardens upon recommendation with a visitor to England. A bit of a let down, just felt like a field and a path in parts and a well kept garden in others. Turned back to the car after about 20 mins

Lovely park and gardens good for a walk short or long or a game of tennis. The cafe is worth a visit for a cake or ice cream after a long walk. My son loves the hilly paths in the rock garden and waterfalls and the nature areas in the woodlands and bird feeding areas. You can walk from the... More

Although having lived nearby for years, we first visited the park for the open air theatre production of Oscar Wilde, provided by Heartbreak Productions. A fantastic way to make use of gorgeous surroundings!

Interesting woodland walk. The gardens are nicely looked after. Unfortunately visited after a rainy day, and paths were completely covered by water... There is a small tea shop, looks cute but not much in offer. Very basic.

Disheveled and disappointing. The gardens might be pretty, but the walk is badly signposted, lots of dog toilet leftovers, most areas not looked after well at all. With a dog it's probably great but with kids or a partner I wouldn't recommend

This is a lovely space in which to enjoy a walk in the park or along the river. It can be muddy after rain if you stray off the main path into the woodland. A visit to the park would not be complete without checking out what local exhibition is being held in the Parsonage adjacent to the park. This... More
