Market Street is fun, but also not too special of anything you will find in other cities: Marks and Spencer, Tesco Express, Primark, and similar big-box stores. When not raining (ha!) well worth a walk through.

A great shopping street with a cozy christmas market in the middle. We experienced again how friendly and polite the British people are.

Lloyd’s Bank on Market Street Manchester is a high tech Bank with a coffee shop. Worth a visit, coffee is great and reasonably priced. Coffee provided by the Ancoats Coffee Company. Silver Apples bakery provide the yummy cakes. Excellent for a quick stop while shopping.

Wow this place has really gone downhill in the last 30 years. Lots of litter and graffiti and the stores are ru down and nothing much to look at. Expensive parking too

Hi Jean-Marc, I don't know either. Knowing the council you probably do! Like David I suggest you use the city council website. Good luck Patchycat
