Nice walk down the Market street. The people in Manchester are ever so nice and friendly. There is a good food market at the end of Market str. in Piccadilly garden

A typical busy pedestrianised shopping area. Gets very busy on weekends and bank holidays, and can be difficult to navigate. I usually tent to avoid it.

I’ve lived in Manchester for 18 years and the area continues to deteriorate. The number of homeless increases, beggars, cart sellers, sales people, religious shouters - the whole street becomes unfriendly and often scary. The council and police need to do more. I would not...More

I hate having to navigate through here. Not only is it difficult to pass through crowds (whilst carrying a baby) but it's filled with irritation! Buskers, beggars and awful music. Market street is a nightmare and is certain to taint your mood.

So much has moved on since the Arndale was built apart from the Primark, spend your time elsewhere nearby there’s the dept stores around King street and St Anne’s Square a lot more pleasurable to meander around

but really its a dump. I hate walking down it. When its wet, which it usually is, there are puddles as the drainage isnt any good. Its busy, usually full of groups of chav children or bad street performers and these days it tends to...More

On opinion , the mark street is okay, nothing to worry about... I just don't like when the streets are too crowded

but even on those rainy days, the enormous amount of shopping and multitude of stores would stoke any shopaholics fire. from jewellery to shoes to clothes this area has it all!!
