Lovely and loving atmosphere everywhere you go. In the spring and summer especially, the area rejuvenates. Fresh as ever.

My partner and I drank here on a busy summer Saturday night and the place was buzzing. Loads of friendly people all out to have a great time. Can't wait to go again.

Really cool safe space for all. Definitely less busy than a few years ago but a few of the old favourites are still nice and busy Friday and Saturday nights.

Calling it a village may be a little bit confusing as it's actually a street full of bars and rainbow flags. The happy hour deals here are pretty good tho if you wanna sit and grab a few drinks with friends while enjoying the breeze...More

Hi I don't think you'll have a problem with any of the bars in canal Street. There were many cross dressers, welcome in all of the bars from what I seen. Have a great time.

It's a good question. Cross dressers tend to frequent napoleons. I've never been in on x20 years on the scene. Sparkle weekend is coming up. Plenty of groups to meet and join - just google
