I really was not sure what to expect from the Peoples History Museum but was impressed. There's lots of displays about workers rights going back over 200 years and I found it all very interesting It's free to visit but they appreciate it if you make a donation.

There is plenty of hands on for children. Also a good gift shop. Combine this with a trip to the John Rylands Library - they... More

Really enjoyed our brief visit to this museum. It's well laid out and presents the information in some really imaginative, interactive ways. My son loved it.

The building has several floors and in the main its about people and organisations. The museum used to be called Labour Museum but changed some Years back. The building was an old pumping station and still in places looks that way, however there is a new addition to the building. The museum holds and displays the way of life for... More

I didn't really know what to expect when I visited the People's History Museum but I'd heard good things so I decided to give it a go. The museum itself is in a striking modern building and the staff on the desk were helpful and gave me a map when I arrived. The first floor covers history until 1945 and... More

The only problem with this museum is that it does not appear to be catered for by any of the many signs around the city centre... So you may struggle to find it amongst all the new buildings around the 'Left Bank'. However when you get there and view the exhibits and information on show you may wonder if that... More

Easy to get there, free and the exhibits are interesting, interactive, moving and informative. The banners are must sees.
