Just three-quarters of a mile away from the main stretch in Broadway, St Eadburgha's Church is well worth the wander down a quiet country lane. Dating from the 12th century, the exterior is both charming and stunning and stands out from the green country surroundings. It's worth looking at from all angles and taking in the different perspectives. Inside, we... More

We left the High Street and came across this pretty church. We were walking through the cemetery and saw walkers on a bench, I do think that this church, with its picturesque rolling landscape to one side, was an ideal spot for their picnic, although a little odd, I believe in that setting, they were oblivious to the actual setting.... Bring your camera, it is just so beautiful. The outside is the thing. Inside isn't as impressive. We walked all around, and then through the charming town of Chipping Campden.

I had the privilege of visiting this church because of the generosity of a retired church warden and caretaker Peter. S, who offered to drive me there to tell me about this hidden gem in the quiet and peaceful village of Ebrington. It was indeed a provident meeting that allowed me this chance, and I have only Peter to thank.... More

We were staying at Charingworth Manor and purposely made the walk down to visit St. Eadburgha's, and we are so happy that we did. The churchyard was lovely, the structure itself both historic and spiritual, but the inside of this beautiful church was the true pleasure of the visit. From the stonework to the stained/leaded glass, everything about St. Eadburgha's... More

We came across this church on a wet and miserable afternoon and I'm so glad that we found it. The marble statues inside are amongst the best that I have ever seen. The quality and beauty of them makes them almost alive. Well worth a visit, for them alone.

An old lady who lives near us has Keyte blood in her veins and asked us to visit Ebrington church and to take photographs of relevant memorials. We had a highly successful visit. The church is lovely, in the heart of an attractive village. Well worth a visit. We had coffee at the Ebrington Arms opposite the church - another... More
