This time I walked up to tower at the end of a 12 mile hike taking in snowshill and Stanton manor and the surrounding countryside. It's always worth it when you get to the top and can see the Malverns and on rare days into Wales.

what seemed at first to be a silly conceit turned out to be an interesting afternoon. The Tower itself provides a terrific view of the surrounding country. More importantly, it contains some carefully put-together exhibits on the Arts and Crafts movement and the influence William Morris had on it. Plus a lovely lunch and gifts spot.

Cold day, no view sadly but a lovely walk. Coffee shop, bit pricey but the drinks were good and nice shop.

I was staying a week at the King's Hotel in Chipping Campden and learned from a bit a research that the Cotswolds walks start in Chipping Campden. I decided to get a hand drawn map and follow it to the Broadway Tower in July! It was glorious, so much better than I could imagine. Walking through fields of white flowers,... More

Try and go on a clear day. The view was the main point and was obscured by cloud when we went. Lovely cafe at the end of the walk, and the tower is also an interesting museum.

We took the Circular walk up to the tower from Chipping Campden with 2 dogs and it took approx 2 hours each way. It was a little harder up to the tower than back as there were some up hill slopes but the route wasn't too difficult Dogs aren't allowed in the tower but we waked over to the cafe... More

Whilst spending a while in The Cotswolds in our motorhome recently my wife and I decided we would visit Broadway Tower. We have driven past it many times, so at last we decided to visit. We started our day with morning coffee at the tea room/restaurant, before our visit to the tower itself. We found the history of it very... More

A typical gentle Cotswolds country walk through fields dotted with sheep and a really interesting tour of the Tower, built in 1800. The history of the "Follie" was explained in detail from the beginning, as well as documenting The Tower in Wartime 1914-1918 including photos. Additionally, the importance of the tower during the Second World War was explained. Very well... More

The walk from Chipping Camden to Broadway is beautiful. Walk along the Cotswald Way, have lunch, and walk back (or take the bus).

Well worth an hour or two of your day to walk The Cotswold Way from nearby Chipping Campden. Amazing views and a cafe to relax in. Close to Broadway although the walk down is easier than the walk back! The tower itself has the best views and is reasonably priced...especially if you buy a season ticket. The Cold War bunker...
