See the network of underground canal routes that helped form the industrial Black Country and marvel at the fantastic Limestone Caverns. Enjoy a canalside walk or relaxing boat trip, and admire the local history. See if you can spot any of the limestone fossils remaining from when the area was below sea, and explore the Dudley Tunnel - don't be startled by the bats!

Santa trips

A lot of effort was put into this short trip, it was very entertaining and my Grandson loved it, well worth the money.

6 of us went on this trip, 4 adults, 2 grandchildren. Even though it was pouring down with rain we all really enjoyed it. Santa was really good with the children, having photos taken with those that wanted to. The grandchildren enjoyed the pantomime. We had a nice cake and a cuppa in the restaurant upstairs afterwards. All the staff... More

We was very impressed with the tour. The guide I think was an ex police man , he was hilarious. There was a few ride people on the boat talking while he was which made it hard to hear but we enjoyed every minute and was well worth a ride . We have now been twice and to be honest... More

Huge new visitor centre to start the experience> On the day we went the special offer was £ 3 each - fabulous value. 45 minute trip had a commentary from our skipper, very informative. Hard hats must be worn and water may drip from the ceiling- all part of the fun You can also have a go at "legging" TIP... More

We've done this trip a few times now but our favourite has to be the Christmas one. They put on a panto in the caves which was fab the year we went, there's also loads of decorations and a Santas grotto where Santa comes and joins you on the boat and gives presents and poses for photos. We couldn't rate... More

Words don't describe how good and informative this tour is. We were coerced into this visit ( our second over the years) by a guy i think they called Elvis while we were wandering around the bclm. Then the tour, Phil the captain is a credit to the tour and makes it a good laugh, enjoyable and informative.

This trip is really worth going on - it's informative and really interesting. The only thing that spoiled it for us was the crying of the two very young children sitting nearby who were presumably frightened in the tunnels. My advice would be to avoid the trip if you have very young children.

Took the boys...5 and 3.....very good indeed...will not tell what one see's as it could spoil the surprise but....it was the best ever Santa....he put real time in with the kids and they loved it. All the staff were upbeat and enthusiastic......top job and well done to them. Only down side...I asked Santa why he did not bring me Juliet... More

First time for us with our 7month old and 5 year old on the santa canel trip. Kids seemed to really like it, could be better like most things , the panto was a good idea but maybe a more christmas theme would have been more entertaining!! Santa came on the boat for presents and photos and was very good... More
