Only a small garden but so peachful, lovely weir and so close to Abbey.It was so nice to sit by weir and relax in the surroundings. Also toilets nearby were very clean.

A brief walk around Victoria Pleasure Gardens on Thursday afternoon 23/08/18 & absolutely stunning garden & extremely well maintained throughout, a variety of trees plants & shrubs & some very old beautiful cottages opposite the main entrance along the canal waterway.

Came across this by accident, very pleasant picturesque gardens alongside the river. Lovely flowers and weeping willows leading to the weir by the Abbey Mill. Interesting to look across the flood plains and then travel further along to join up with the Riverside Walk.

Whilst walking dogs we came across this. It was a lovely place to rest with loads of benches. Highly recommend. The gardens are well kept

After visiting the Abbey, its a very short walk along the main street to the Victoria pleasure gardens. Beautiful gardens, so much colour amidst the scorched grass, and an easy walk along the riverside taking in the hypnotic weir. Birdlife, butterfly and insects to view....More

On a lovely day it is a pleasure to walk through the gardens which are always kept very well. The rose garden particularly was looking great. Nice to walk along the river and behind the old mill which is a shame that the old wheels...More
