We visited with our youngest grandson. Even though it was a little soggy and muddy under foot the day went well. We visited the Owls during the meet and greet session and stood among the crowds as they eagerly awaited a little stroke of an owl when they did their walkabout. Their handler was very friendly and knowledgeable, he didn't... More

Booked the tickets in advance and saved money. Disappointed when we got there to be told there was no transport running up to the castle as we both have mobility problems. However, the Beatrix Potter exhibitions were fantastic and a different Christmas tree in each room. The Christmas Market was good too. A nice day out

Went to the maze cafe for a light lunch, 2 portions of chips for the children and 2 adult portions of chips £1.25 and £1.85 respectively + drinks. The adult portion of chips was the same size as the childs portion!!! We were unable to sit on the tables provided around the maze cafe as they were mostly being used... More

What a lovely Castle inside and out, set in beautiful grounds. Very well maintained and staff are helpful. It was half term so plenty to keep children amused too. I really enjoyed the Owl encounter and the Falconry show.

This place is remarkable in many ways. Some of the oldest parts were restored to their former appearance and other areas are preserved as they were redone in the 1930's when it was the residence of a wealthy American socialite who entertained the famous and celebrated in her home, Leeds castle. Included in our tour was a sampling of a... More

Very easy to spend a couple of hours here wandering around the house and gardens. Entrance fees are expensive but the tickets last for a year. Excellent news if you are a local.

We had a wonderful day out at the castle. The castle and staff were excellent. The bird of prey display was lovely and meeting the owls. We avoided the bug show as loads of kids and not too keen on bugs.
