I live just round the corner to Leeds castle so go there quite often, I have been there on business, I have been there to take my little sister (to which a young member of staff in the summer commented on why I shouldn't be a mother so young... clearly needs a talking to?) The restaurant staff are okay but... More

My wife, 2 young daughters and mother-in-law visited Leeds Castle for the first time on Sunday 4th December. Mixed feelings about our day out. The venue is amazing, the grounds and castle are kept very well and enough to make us want to go back in the summer. However, there is room for improvement here; Getting into the car park... More

We visited on Sunday, and it was brilliant! Yes it was very busy but we expected it as it was such a nice day. Beatrix potter in the castle was wonderful, so much detail in the displays, kids loved the trail and we all wrote our Christmas wishes and hung them in the tree...a lovely idea! We then headed to... I have previously visited Leeds Castle and enjoyed it a great deal. I saw the Christmas market dates along with Beatrix Potter & Santa. I was on the phone and online as soon as it said lines were open. No luck for 50minutes. Only managed a visit to Santa on 3rd Dec. First disappointment. When we arrived the main car... More

Had a great day out with all the family, four generations all out together. Market, fair and fairground were all lively and very busy. It was a very cold afternoon and by the evening it got too cold as the castle and grounds are quite exposed. The tour of the castle was enjoyed by all ages. A Beatrix Potter character... More

Went on Sunday the 4th. December Long queues for castle grandchildren a bit underwhelmed by lack of Beatrix Potter displays. Christmas Market crammed into small arena, just all push and shove very disappointing. food vastly overpriced for the poor quality of the Bratwursts and over salty chips! it cost us £112.00 to go in and then £30.00 for lunch and... We had to park a good 15/20min walk away. Then had to queue for 35mins as there were only 2 people at the ticket booth. There wasn't anywhere to eat as the queues were horrendous. Finally managed to get an over priced cheese and pickle sandwich that was the driest, most disgusting thing have ever eaten. The park bit was... More

We went to Leeds castle this weekend...what an amazing building with beautiful grounds. The Christmas market was in a great setting with wooden chalets surrounding a really festive old fashioned fairground. We managed to buy some unusual Christmas presents for friends and family at reasonable prices. The kids really enjoyed themselves on the rides and particularly loved the owls! A great... More

Positives - Very pretty castle & really nice to walk around. Excellent Christmas market (visited 4th December 2016). Negatives - Quite expensive, extremely busy during Christmas market resulting in long ques to drive to parking and long ques to get into the castle.
