A beautiful castle, picture perfect with plenty of different attractions throughout the year (check out their website), including formal gardens, maze, children's playground, beautiful parkland and woodland walks, falconry displays etc etc. What we found really interesting was the history of the castle and we left with a very positive impression of Lady Baille. There's also a decent foodstop with... More

What a magnificent setting for a magnificent display of arms and chivalry from Destrier Jousting. There was swordsmanship and archery, leather working and fletching, cooking and an apothecary and of course, the all-important jousting itself. All presented with enthusiasm, panache and a friendly access-all-areas approach where anyone can stop and talk to anyone about the history and the life. Add... More

We came of a hot and sunny Friday. We have never been before but it has a fantastic combination of history( castle) , really well kept grounds and activities for kids.

A beautiful Castle surrounded by water and plenty of birds. Black swans, ducks and many species. You can use the grounds to relax, have a picnic, sleep... It is very peaceful and well managed.

Have been there two times so far, both times when groups such as Detrier Jousting and the Demowbrays Retinue have been there (Re-enactors) and it has been fantastic, the jousting and everything there allows you to learn a ton about history whilst also in a beautiful setting, you can also then check out the castle itself which has its own... What an incredible day. There is something here for every age group. From the incredible horsemanship of the jousting, the informative an engaging displays showing the armoury, the swordsmanship, the tents with their historic wares and delicious authentic drinks and food, to the Castle itself and the beautiful grounds and bird life. Take the time to talk to the reenactment... More

Lovely drive to this peaceful country setting. The area has been maintained with love and gives a glimpse into old castles. The spring goslings were being protected by their mums and added to the idlyic setting. The grounds are worth a stroll to truly enjoy this worthwhile attraction.

We stayed with relatives in the grounds of Leeds Castle in one of their B&B rooms on Monday 22nd May 2017. The staff on arrival were very friendly, made everything very clear and our room was clean, well presented and available on time. It was a bonus to have the cost of the castle entry included in the bed and... More

This beautiful castle is now my favorite castle. Not a very large castle but one filled with history & interesting stories. Though my tour was marred by a class of noisy kids (kids will be kids no matter how hard the teachers try to keep them quiet), it was still an enjoyable visit. Be sure to get the audio guide...
