A great place to feed the birds and take a long or short walk. New trim trail almost ready. Boat trips and water sports available. Large climbing area and miniature train makes it a family day.

Willen Lake A great place to walk the dog.. Attractions managed by Trust are worth visiting..The Fayre & Square another matter..letting down the venue. Needs a policy to keep it safe and clean..paved road was expensive to put down..but the bricks are rising .. trip...More

I don't think it is but Longs Inn in Woburn is and that isnt too far, if that helps.

Hi Jamesy I am taking my son for his 11th birthday to Ariel Extreme on Willen lake. You mentioned there are places to picnic by the lake and I wondered if there is anywhere suitable near the Ariel course for a birthday picnic and cake after we've done the activity?

We have done exactly that and had s great day. Some picnic tables around but if there are a few of you then I'd bring something to sit on. Have fun.
