Its really nice for a walk round and to feed the birds the play ground needs a bit of TLC and so do the walk ways and roads.

Been here several times Feeding ducks/wildlife Also for football tournaments for children's footy team. Also came here to support Bolton Hospice on a fun day . All round great place to visit

Further to the reply about copious wildfowl droppings i'd add that thats the situation around the ponds and there are plenty of similarly fine wide paths into and through the woods and up to the cemetery or across the river... More

There's a road just uphill from the park that is a dead end and importantly it borders the park itself but wide enough for easy parking by large and high vehicles as it has the odd industrial premises on it and even a snack... More
