Perfect for dog walking. Once you get to the top of the reservoir, keep going up stream, It's a great river walk. Similarly, at the bottom, head out towards Bradshaw fisheries and keep going until you reach the Cricket club. It's great to have this little bit of the countryside in Bolton.

Perfect walk in this very wet weather. Paths are well defined and easy walking. There is a cafe for drinks and bits to eat. Well defined and a good number of disabled parking spaces available

The Jumbles is a fantastic area to visit for all ages. Walk as far or as little as you want. Go over the bridge and walk up to Turton Tower or continue to Entwistle Resevoir and back via Wayoh resevoir. A really good walk of about 8 3/4 mile. Cafe open summer and winter. Fine for a snack after a... More

I love Jumbles and can be found up there most weekends waking our dog. The seasons create a constantly changing array of picture postcard scenes that never fail to impress me every time I'm there.

The nature, the ducks and geese ( variable) make this a lovely walk. It's fairly flat but not necessarily smooth and the cafe is a nice treat. It gets busy at the weekend.

Walking around the Jumbles offers either a gentle stroll or more strenuous paths with overall distances between 1-4miles. Parking not free but safe and there's the always handy public convenience😉. Ice cream is good and a quirky cafe offer sufficient drinks and food after a walk.

Great walk about 4 miles free parking cafe a bit odd and dated but nice at the end of the walk. Nice outdoor seating area so ok with dogs. Coffee and cake yummy.
