First time here, glorious sunny day. Lovely walk around the resovoir, there are quite a few places to stop and rest or just enjoy the view and feed the ducks. There are a few steep sections if you feel up to it, some muddy areas...More

This is lovely country side. Great walk around the reservoir. Child friendly and dog friendly. Really great especially on a nice day.

A nice easy dog walk around the reservoir of around two miles with some lovely viewpoints and plenty of exploring to be done by the dog.

The park was lovely but as I was with my partner who has an electric wheelchair that can be used in most places with care we assumed that there would be signs around to warn people that a few places around the walk are NOT...More

This is my 5th or 6th visit over the years and it still creeps me out. Bleak, dark and miserable are the first words that spring to mind. The café was closed, the toilets look like something out of a horror movie (minus the gore)...More

Well recommended. Easy walk with a friendly cafe afterwards. The post code given is wrong which is not good when using a satnav. It is BL2 4JS

I agree, not really the place for a BBQ. A picnic would be ok but we use the little cafe near the car park.

I believe a skeleton bus service passes the top of the jumbles. You could ring Bury / Bolton bus station for details of buses Good luck
