Been going to k2 for the past 4-5 years with constantly the same issue.
Check the website for diving pool turn up it’s closed. Get told to call reception in future to find out if it’s open.
Call reception it’s open, drive 45mins and arrive we have closed it.
Shambles. The reason why less and less people come to the diving is anyone who wants to come is constantly let down!
I help run the Uk cliff high diving and could easily fill the pool with people who include Olympic and redbull higher divers which = more money for the centre yet no one is willing to spend the time travelling here as despite being told it’s open by various forms it regularly is closed with made up excuses which we know aren’t true half the time as we have been told!
Sort it out!

I swim twice a week, and although water can be a little chilly, once you swim it is ok. I can understand if you go in with a friend and go up and down and chat, it can feel chilly. Staff are nice. The only thing i would say, is sometimes, when you swim towards the shower end, there can be a smell, also need more single showers. Toilets always clean.

Visited the K2 for an exhibition in the sports hall so not able to review the sports facilities but this review is about the cafe.
The tables were not well cleaned, so not a great start.
The food choices, for a leisure centre, were very unhealthy and nearly all fried. We had a pasta salad which really was not great and quite greasy, it was however the high point as the coffee that we purchased with it was undrinkable.
The staff tried hard and were friendly full credit to them, but the whole offer for this catering operation could do with an overhaul

I have had two recent experiences of K2 policies that make me feel that the K2 management need to be reminded that they actually provide a service to paying customers and not cash cows.

I pay K2 a not inconsiderable monthly membership fee, purely to ensure that I have the right to book busy fitness classes two weeks in advance. On one occasion, I woke up in the morning feeling really ill so I had to cancel the booking for my 1130am class. I was fined about 10% of my monthly fee, because the cancellation was done under 4 hours of the start of the class i.e after 730am!!!

The second incident relates to lost property - in this case an £80 steel HydrateSpark water bottle purchased from Apple, that I left in the K2 changing rooms at about 10pm one night. I called K2 first thing the next morning to ask if the bottle had been handed in. Imagine m disdain when I was told that cleaners are instructed to throw away all water bottles and not hand them in. Obviously this is a sensible policy for plastic water bottles but is totally ridiculous for reusable bottles - especially ones like mine which are used to ensure hydration which is critical for managing a health condition. The reason that companies have lost property is because things of value sometime get forgotten including water bottles!!!

Dirty place. Changing room rarely maintained with urine on the floors, dirty toilets and fungus crawling over the floor to the saunas, that are in the locker rooms,
will jump on you like sales team on your wallet, without a warning. Swimming pool stinky of urine and chloride over the limits to kill bacteria from urine?
I can't believe they make children have swimming lessons in there. Gym usable as last resort with awkward equpiment, gym benches worn out and ropes used for machines are holding on last threads beware of them snapping on you. Missing safety locks for plates, dumbells dripping of sweat. In summer you don't need sauna as sauna is made in the gym part out of sweat of visitiors and lack of ventilation, even walls are sweating. Lovely staff with squeeky voice will lie as much as they have to swindle your pennies but got no proper training and can cause injuries, especially the younger 'newcomers'. Gym manager totally ignoring any comments about safety unwilling to make report of injuries at the gym for members, cleaning replaced by chatting up underage girls to show them how to do exercise 'in the right way' what I think is disgusting

My kids have had swimming lessons here for years as it's pretty much the only place in Crawley. The main pool is too small and only 1 flume so never entertained the kidz for more than 20 mins. Cleanliness has never been great but since everyone active has taken over the changing rooms and toilets are even worse. Always smells of wee!! I've made numerous suggestions to reception about blue mats through the shower area (which I've seen at other pools) for Parents to walk through for lessons or with pushchairs etc and they're not remotely interested. Swim lessons are ok but not great and I don't feel that my son is progressing nearly as well as he should be and the cost has just gone up to £31 a month for hlf hr swim lessons!! Just disgustingly overpriced and not worth their value so unfortunately now forced to cancel.

Excellent experience at the cafe and climbing wall. My daughter and her friends enjoyed an excellent climbing party with Craig and his brilliant team. Afterwards, the cafe team, led by Ramon, provided the kids with a wonderful personalised packed lunch, and lots of squash. Great choice, variety, healthy options and lovely presentation from the polite and helpful cafe staff. Thank you so much for your efforts, you made the party really special and we really appreciated your efforts.

I come here twice a week as my daughter has trampoline training here. The sports hall is always dirty, littered with discarded food.
The hall has no heating and so is always very cold, almost below legal safe minimums for a public space.
The female toilets are regularly dirty, really could do with a steam clean.
Management happy to buy incredibly large screens but not deal with cleanliness issues.
The cafe is dire, all hot food is fried.

I just joined with a swimming membership. It is a lovely pool. Absolutely spotlessly clean everywhere, The everyone active app is easy to navigate. It would be nice if cafe was open for breakfast or a coffee after an early morning swim.

An amazing experience with great facilities. The pool has great seating for spectators although it is very warm. For my sport (underwater hockey) the pool was ideal. However, the only problem we had was the no food by poolside policy. We completely understand this though. Hope to visit this facility again in the near future.
