Tilgate Park is a great place to visit with the family, especially if you have young children. Parking is available in several areas, but the main parking is at the top of the hill with LOTS of spaces. NATURE There are two lovely lakes which you can walk around and also a newly created marshland/wetland area for wildlife to thrive.... More

A rare visit to see some reindeer ruined by unhappy staff who couldn't give a care in the world if you visited the park or not, which is a great shame as they have some really good bits like a beautiful lake and walk-through enclosures. However, you could easily turn around from the attitude of the staff at the door.... More

Whether young or old & every budget- this park has it all. A nature centre with animals for the family, Go Ape for the adventurous & of course the main attraction- the lovely lake & woodland complete with gardens, playground, outdoor gym. Also has a Smith & Westerns which is worth a stop for a meal!

See the brilliant autumn colours this year while walking round this attraction. Easy walk round on paved surface around a lake, yet close to the fauna and flora of the area. Plenty of (chargeable) parking close to the main path. The autumn colours are wonderful here and provided the strong winds do not materialise in the immediate future, this could... More

I love this place, we live about 45 mins away by car, but visit often. The lakes are so picturesque and there's plenty for a family to do. In the summer the water sports are fun, kayaking a favourite with my family. The childrens play area was always popular when mine were younger, they now prefer the outdoor gym the... More

This is a lovely park to walk around, there is a large fishing lake in the middle and you can safely walk around the lake. There is a small Nature centre at the top of the hill, with small animals in. also a lovely café by the walled gardens.
