Monday 6th July 2020. First visit to the Cheese Rollers since the lock down. Wow what a surprise. Completely revamped by Ian and Den . Now a bright new look with more space. Unrecognisable from the previous tired looking place. Even the garden has had a revamp. No need to drive, use the number 10. We think that you will be as pleasantly surprised as we were.

Called in on the off chance with my parents for Sunday lunch having not been to this pub in a number of years. What a lovely place. Very comfy seating and dining areas with a super bar area as well. We all ordered the roast beef but could have had turkey or gammon or indeed anything from the normal menu. We had the regular size which comes already plated. The meat was tender the veggies crunchy and the yorkshire pudding was nice and crisp. They had homemade rice pudding as a desert which with ice cream and cream made my dads afternoon. The staff were friendly and helpful and it wont be long before we return to this reasonably priced jem.

We celebrated a family birthday with Sunday lunch at The Cheese Rollers Inn. The lunch was delicious and service exceptional. The staff were friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The Sunday roasts were really delicious with all 11 being served at the same time and hot. We brought our own cake and they supplied the plates, we had ice cream too, which was a nice touch. We were all seated together and the cost was reasonable. All in all, an excellent lunch. Would recommend this experience.

Stopped for lunch the Sunday before Christmas, I had the Sunday roast which was superb my husband had sausage and mash. Lovely friendly staff and great food at a reasonable price. One minor moan it was quite cold and even though we were sat by 2 radiators we couldn't turn them on
Would definitely eat there again,:

Went with a group of friends, service was very friendly, the traditional Christmas meal was plentiful, but to serve the same veg etc., with salmon did not appeal, although the food was tasty there was far too much on the plates.it was piled on top of each other.
The owners had gone to a lot of trouble with a lovely table setting, decent crackers.

Four of us (2 couples) stopped for a meal on the way home on a rather cold and dull winter evening. The Bar was only occupied by 2or 3 people and we were the only ones ordering food. Certainly not a very busy pub and although the staff were pleasant and helpful, we felt we were intruding on "the locals" territory !
That said the ordered meals arrived fairly quickly and we all agreed the food was well prepared, hot and very enjoyable, and all at a reasonable price.
A pleasant average village pub which was pleasant enough, although not one I would go out of my way to visit again.

We are sorry you felt as if you were intruding, the locals are a very friendly bunch and certainly would not have caused any situation to make anybody feel uneasy. Trade has been quiet on some evenings due to the run up to Christmas. I am pleased you enjoyed your food and hope you do visit again, when we are busier. Regards

Visited as part of a group of 14 for lunch. We did a pre-order given the size of the group and the food was served nice and promptly on arrival. Food was excellent and staff were very helpful. On this basis, I look forward to returning
