The rocks themselves are quite good fun for clambering about, and are indeed interesting geologically. However, there are lots of other places where parking is free!

I am wondering how those rocks remain in place. it is somewhere I will revist next year. I went on 17,11,17. probably the coldest day of the week and I had the wrong fleece on and I was frozen, but not to be totally deterred...More

What a day out and its free, apart from a parking charge, unless you are MT members. The site is all natural and looks like a film set, massive rocks and boulders perched tentatively on each other surrounded by heathland, If you have the time...More

Great place to walk and enjoy the natural rock formations. The rocks are a natural attractions for children who enjoy climbing and exploring. Care is needed that young climbers don.t go beyond their ability. Avoid Bank Holidays as it can get busy.

A National Trust property. We went with our grandchildren - two girls aged 11 & 14 on a rather damp afternoon, but our girls loved climbing over the most unusual rock formations. The views would have been much better on a fine sunny day.

Well yep it's rocks...easy ones to climb...try remember your pre teen era!....Explore a little, climb a little...a few bigger rocks for those with the experience. A fun couple of hours for the kids playing hide and seek or in the Summer take a picnic too!

There is no reduction for parking for the disabled. There are several paths for wheelchair users but some of the areas are not accessible. Most of the views can be accessed by wheelchair.
