A really fabulous natural phenomenon of rocks over quite a large area... overseen by the national trust which is great for walking and picnicking . Well worth a visit!

If you need a place to get away and just look at amazing nature this isn't to be missed. Parking can be expensive but if you're a national trust member it's free.

Very unusual rock formations - well worth a visit. Could be better signposted! I think we went on a long detour searching for it before we finally got there.

A brilliant place to take children and dogs. Despite misty weather we were still able to appreciate the extraordinary rock formations. In good conditions the views show what a special part of Yorkshire this is. The car parks are spacious and no payment is required...More

Yes, it's National Trust land so keep your dog on a lead.

Check there website. It states BBQ's are not allowed in area at all but does tell you where you can eat close by.
