If you have kids then this place is a must. Lots of rock formations to clamber on, well worth it for adults too as the views across the Moors is spectacular. Well worth the fee for the car park.

An interesting place and well worth a visit. We chose a cold clear day and the views were tremendous. We could see York Minster about 20 miles away. Coffee and hot chocolate available to warm us up. A craft workshop making Christmas decorations was fun...More

The rocks themselves are quite good fun for clambering about, and are indeed interesting geologically. However, there are lots of other places where parking is free!

Great place to walk and enjoy the natural rock formations. The rocks are a natural attractions for children who enjoy climbing and exploring. Care is needed that young climbers don.t go beyond their ability. Avoid Bank Holidays as it can get busy.

The National Trust must be coining it in at this place and their carpark has got the monopoly on the attractive rock formations because other options to park legally in the area do not exist. £6 is way to much and is the minimum you...More

Yes you can, sure there was bike racks in the car park there too. Might be some routes around there on the National Trust website?

There is no reduction for parking for the disabled. There are several paths for wheelchair users but some of the areas are not accessible. Most of the views can be accessed by wheelchair.
