Llamas are great

Llamas are incredible creatures, at once docile and also fiercely protective. As an introduction to Llmas this is a really wonderful place.

We expected the trek to be cancelled anytime due to torrential rain and snow on the moors up the road but NO! Nidderdale's friendly staff met us with such enthusiasm and we and the other 2 ladies on that day's trek were more than game to go out and get soaked with our new furry friends.Granted, we spent a little... We visited over Easter weekend with my daughter and her friend. We all had a fantastic time, the staff are very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the llamas and alpacas. It was a lovely walk in the country with some fantastic views

We booked the Interactive Experience and we are so glad we did! It was the perfect amount of time getting to know the llamas/alpacas compared to the actual walking - we aren't big on exercise! It's about 2 hours in total, with a 45 minute walk. Our pairings were excellent - I got a cute little fluffy alpaca and my... More

Wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this for my husband's birthday but we absolutely loved it. The staff are really knowledgeable about the llamas, the llamas have such distinct personalities and are wonderful to walk with and the area is beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

We did the half day trek. Great introduction to the llamas and alpacas and then a walk in the gorgeous countryside with them. Suzanne and Charlotte were knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming and they really brought the personalities of the llamas to life for us. Can't recommend this highly enough and can't wait to get back and do a full day.

Although initially confused as to how this was going to work out, on arrival I could already feel the magic. The staff were absolutely amazing and so knowledgeable. The lovely llamas and alpacas were so sweet to meet and greet, and the little trek was so lovely. I loved my llama - matched to me because it was a bit... More

The 3 of us booked the trek and it was thoroughly worth the money! We'd never been near a llama or alpaca before so didn't know what to expect. The staff were lovely and explained everything thoroughly which was great - especially as I was apprehensive when I saw how tall the llamas were! They did a fun 'speed dating'... More

What a lovely day. Really interesting. Our hosts Suzanne and Sarah were great. Very knowledgeable. We went for a 3mile walk with the llamas. There's was a tea break in some beautiful woods and a well prepared lunch on our return. We enjoyed matching our personalities to the llamas and getting to know them along the trek. Highly recommended day... More
