Brittas Bay is stunning. Almost snow white sand, and a flawless view out to the Irish Sea. Anytime you feel like a visit to the beach, you can't go wrong with Brittas. It's a bit of a trek, but honestly, it's worth it.

Long open beach with dunes alongside. Great to walk the dog. Can't understand why teh council don't reduce or waive the 4 Euro parking fee in winter months to encorage people to use the facility - we were one of only 2 cars in the huge car park with lots parked on the yellow lines outside.

We love Brittas bay! It is amazing beach. White sand and dunes. You have to pay for parking in South and North car parks.

Only 1 hr from Dublin, this is one of the Best beaches in the whole of Ireland, bar none. A real family beach, great for swimming, pay attention to Lifeguards flags as there can be an undercurrent and drag. Bring plenty of sun cream and drinking water as shops are quite a distance away. Enjoy, Enjoy, Enjoy.

I love sandy beeches and not rocky ones. We loved this beech as it was sandy and in Ireland surprisingly. The sunset was lovely and just walking on the sand was so relaxing. Very tranquil there were not much people and lovely beech. It's definitely a hidden gem beech. Will definitely return. Lovely beech.

Possibly in the summer this is a nice place to visit , but on a cold and dreary October afternoon - it was cold and dreary ! Nothing open , apparently everything shuts up shop at the end of September . Stay away , certainly don't look for accommodation as we were , the b&b's are all closed .

Had a lovely walk and night in Brittas at the tail end of holiday time. Got in a great walk on a vast expanse of beach. Pity that McDaniels is closed as a "hot one" would have gone down well.

This is a nice beach but nothing special as far as beaches go. Maybe for Ireland it's a bit out of the ordinary. The big disappointment is that there is a 4 euro fee to use the carpark which is not something I'm used to having to do back home. Paying to see a beach is amazing.

Great to find a car park with toilets and food facilities at a beach. HOWEVER I have mobility issues and could not get onto beach. But was ale to use picnic facilities at quiet corner of carpark and enjoyed my 3 hours of sunshine there. Excellent restaurant nearby for dinner
