Well worth a visit to the Abbey. There is a lovely bubbling brook which runs next to the Abbey and we thought it was a very beautiful and restful area to visit.

We arrived to late to do the last tour of the actual Abbey, however the grounds and walking trails are amazing, Make sure you have at least an hour to stroll through the gardens and trails.

Visited here and found that old abbey has been really well restored and gives really good history of abbey since it’s foundation to it being taken over by state. There is also really good cafe onsite which serves nice food.

A very old Abbey partially in ruins. Unfortunately the facilities were closed due to the time of year but how it was built in the 1200s is amazing. The walks in the grounds and surrounds are excellent.

Stunning from the outside, however it was closed when I arrived so could only view from outside. Well maintained from what I could see.

I’m not sure. We’ve been there many times but have never seen a bus there. We always drive our car.
