I went for a walk in the arboretum on a weekday morning during the late summer. It was very quiet, with plenty of plants, shrubs, and trees to admire.

Return visit after nearly 50 years! And well worth a visit. The Arboretum has matured into a wonderful parkland filled with mature trees planted in groups that are botanically related and aesthetically pleasing. There is a small cafe, clean loos, a playground and friendly staff....More

The Arboretum has paved paths through beautiful grounds. Wide variety of trees and shrubs, easy walking--just plain beautiful. The museum was very interesting, too.

The Arboretum was established by The Irish Government as a tribute to JFK - it is very near to his family homestead - it may no longer have the immediate impact that it had but it is still a magical place well worth exploring. Arrived...More

Loved going here with the family over the years, unfortunately it's gone to the dogs since I was last here in 2007 signage broke and short staffed shop is a total rip off. Lost its appeal along time ago won't be returning.
