Visited here to do a quick morning hike. The area is beautiful. There are a lot of new hiking trails being developed in the area. The quickest way to the top is the left trail, not going through the new sheep gate on the right....More

My husband an dI had this on our bucket list and it was a delightful way and impressive to see the cairn. But locals and tourists alike violate all the rules, including walking up the cairn where they damage the rocks and the flat top....More

I'm from Sligo and this remains my favourite place to bring visitors! If you fancy a longer walk I would start on the strandhill side. Parts of this are quite steep but you get great views of the bay and strandhill all the way up....More

From the top you can see for miles up and down the coastline and back into Sligo bay and the surrounding Hinterlands. I prefer to walk up the old way from the 'Glen road' side of the mountain, check out the Glen it's quite well...More

Amazing walking trail, that gives you a fabulous walk enjoying the view. Will not recommend for young kids and buggies. You will get astonished all the way, we got snow flakes when was arriving to the top of the mountain it was breath taking experience....More

Fabulous walk... we parked at rugby club and yes the steps are the start are tough I think. Make sure to stop for a coffee ☕️ at the other side.
