My friend is a big Tullamore whisky fan and while in Ireland we decided to travel by train to Tullamore and take in a tour of the distillery. Great decision. The town itself is charming, as well. The whisky tour is much the same as others and offers tasting of their various products. The guide was well informed, funny and... More

I liked this tour mostly because the building was just so cool! The decor was beautiful, and the tasting room was gorgeous! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable as well. They only do the tours every 2-3 hours, so it is good idea to see when they run to work your schedule appropriately. Parking is a little tricky - park... More

Did the 12 euro curious tasters experience. Mauve presented a thoroughly charming tour. We had 3 good measures to try at the end. Lovely bar which also serves food and a small gift shop. Delightful.

I went here on behalf of my son and enjoyed the tour (50 minutes plus tasting) and store. Tour was 12 euro/adult. We learned about whiskey in general and D.E.W. specifically which was interesting. Relatively easy to get to en route from Dublin to Galway or vice versa. Some onsite parking but plenty of metered parking. Restaurant onsite as well.... More

We went on the 2:30pm tour which costs a bit more than the usual tour but worth it. We were a small group and our guide (Marsha I think was her name) was very good, she knew her stuff and had a good sense of humour. We were also fortunate enough to be the first to group to try the... More

We made a quick stop at Tullamore Dew knowing we didn't have time for a tour but wanted to pick up some gifts. My father in law's favorite whiskey is Tullamore Dew so we were seeking out something special only available in Ireland. We saw they had an on site restaurant so we put in a quick order before our... Visited in a small group. Had a lovely bite to eat before tour. We paid a little extra for a mid-price whiskey masters tour (around 20 £quid) which was well worth it as we had our own personal guide (Amy). The tour was informative, light and I now know what holy water & angel wings are! Tour finished with 6... More
