I was able to enjoy another fish and chips offering at Dunnings Pub. The cod fillet was cooked to perfection. Atmosphere was quaint and typical for the region. No problems, good service, would recommend this pub.

Our experience wasn't nearly as bad as others have reported, but we weren't really knocked off our socks, either. The service was okay, if not overly-friendly, and the food was just average. Grant it, one doesn't expect it to be a four-star dining experience, but...More

If I could give this place 6 stars out of 5 I would. Food was immensely enjoyable and service was with a smile - we were even offered 2 straws with our pints. Toilets were clean and easy to find. Will be back.

Lovely little pub with timber and lead-light glass windows dividing the dining tables - very friendly and a cosy feel to it. Food is good, honest and well priced...nicely stocked bar and right at the Octagon in the centre of town.

Called for breakfast passing through the town on a tour of Ireland. Sadly the worst Irish breakfast we had on our trip - overcooked and dried out.

We just came in here for drinks. I tried the famous ale and blackcurrant ~ something our b&b proprietor had told us to do. There were more lively bars but we were happy to have a quieter time. Everyone was Mayo friendly!
