These walks are well thought out and offer an excellent opportunity to stretch the legs whilst taking in the scenery and breathing in fresh air. There is no shortage of people availing of them and it is great to have such amenities in the heart of a town. It is definitely worth the effort.

Visited this lovely place while in the area last week and have to say the views are unreal, Croagh Patrick and the lake, you can rest when you like and grab a coffee in the village, lovely for a picnic if the weather permitted and a kids play area. Lovely way to spend a couple of hours.

There are lovely walks around Lough Lannagh, its a peaceful place though busy with walkers. You can use the exercise machines too if the walk isnt enough. When you need a break you can get a coffee at the cafe at Lough Lannagh Holiday Village. There is a childrens playground too.Its a nice place to go for a picnic too with small children.

I went for a walk along this trail for a mile or two and it was very agreeable on a fine evening. You can go much further.

I love walking / running the lake track here. Sunset is the perfect time on a summer's evening to be here. It's magical. Congratulations to all those who planned, organized and built this wonderful addition to the town.

Nice surroundings and walk, actually brought a fishing rod along and had fun with a few friends seeing what fish we could get - no luck on our visit but the fun was relaxing in the sunshine and the surroundings.
