Lovely view and exhibition, enough things to do and read for a good while inside there. Beautiful structure but disappointing to see how people rob pieces of the museum ( is a lot of ''touch me''attractions) it puts in doubt the security of the castle....More

Called in first thing on a Sunday morning so was one of only a few visitors. What an excellent place to visit too. Pricey at €12.60 but well worth it. Fabulous displays, interesting videos and informative staff dressed in medieval costumes. Good cafe and shop...More

I had no idea the amount of history that the city of Limerick and King John's castle had. Very informative presentation of the castle and city's history!

Really nice and interactive exhibition. Had a lot of fun and learned a lot not only about the castle, but about Limerick and Ireland's history as well. Also, beautiful view from the castle's towers!!

From all the reviews on here I knew the best part was touring the museum. The castle wasn't that interesting.

The display includes an extensive review of Irish hostory and how the Castle relates to it. It is an imposing structure overlooking the Shannon River. Well worth it!

We visited on a Sunday and spent about 2.5 hours at the castle. We were also able to park on the street near the castle with free parking but we arrived early.
