easy to get to celbridge by car.train or bus....get to celbridge main st....canal only 15 minutes walk from there....head to hazelhatch train station.....now 5 minutes to canal..and walk till you drop....boats on the canal..nice friendly people on way....arthur guinness buried here...in ardclough for serious walkers...More

I driven past this canal several times. Each time I see it, it takes my breath away. Because of the way I admired it, my friends stopped very briefly for me to have a good view and take pictures. The cool water is very soothing.
