What a beautiful place with so many great spots and views. The boat rides from Ross Castle to Lord Brandon Cottage and horse carriage rides from Lord Brandon Cottage to Kate Kearnys Cottage are an unbelievable experience.

Huge park filled with flower gardens, horse and carriages, cows and deer. And several paths....one which ends at The Ross Castle along a lake with swans and ducks. Just a beautiful park.

This is a must-see if you are in the area, especially if you incorporate it with a Ting of Kerry tour.

This national park includes several loughs( lakes) and its trails meander away from Killarney so a jaunting cart ride gives a good view of the natural preserve. many jog or dies bikes and horses on its paths. None of the tourist traffic is heard here.

I stayed in Killarney for three nights and spent one hour in the park everyday. It is tranquil to watch sunset by the lake and Ross castle for as long as you want.

The area is still populated ( very sparsely), and the tracks are meant for locals who reside in the area. The tracks are not meant for regular traffic. The tracks would not stand up to more than they currently experience... More
