This area was a beautiful place with lots of mossy rocks and trees. It was raining the day we went so didn't walk right up to the top of the falls especially with the young children. But what we saw was beautiful. Lots of stairs and it takes about 30 mins to walk right up the top. I couldn't help... More

The waterfall was larger than I expected and the hike to it was stunning! Love seeing all the green vegetation and even though it was a particularly raining day, we are so happy we went!

I went on a walk from Killarney Town out to Muckross. The House is closed at the moment and there is work going on there, loads of scaffolding up around it. I decided to try and find the Torc Waterfall on this walk and was glad that I did. It was lovely to see it. If you follow the signs... More

This is a beautiful walk and an enjoyable climb to the waterfall top. We hired bikes in Killarney and cycled out to here. Very enjoyable

First time calling even though I meant to for years. I was surprised how short a walk it was from the car park to the falls. About 5 mins that you can do in shoes. The only thing to watch out for car park is quite small. Even for the winter getting a parking spot was hard

The walk to the waterfall from the car park will take your breath away.. It is stunning with exceptionally tall trees that grow to the sky. It was a fantastic walk.. Probably less than a KM .. I guess it was around 600 metres. An easy walk. The entry is free and the car park is free but can be... More

Torc falls is in a nice setting accessible from the road or an easy half an hour walk or short jaunting car ride (horse and carriage)from Muckross House. There are some nice looking moss covered trees leading up to the falls. The falls themselves are pretty average, not spectacular.

We travelled on a cold winter morning to Torc. Minus three degrees, still so worth it! An easy 200m walk to the falls from the car park. And there's a further walk up the steps. Absolutely stunning scenery. Tranquility plus. Absolutely enchanting.

Not a very steep walk and well worth the effort. Because the weather has been so dry the fall was not as spectacular as I previously have seen it, but still well worth the walk up.
