Just a wonderful sight and so easy to get to with the car-park being just a few yards from the waterfall itself.

Nice waterfall, close to town, it's an easy 500 metre walk from the road but watch out for the midges, they're voracious!

The waterfall is a beautiful sight to be seen however the best view is at the top of the pathway. It's not a very long walk but it is quite steep and will really get the blood flowing with plenty of viewpoints to stop and...More

By all means if you are into climbing at all, take the red trail! What a treat. Steep steps all the way up to the most beautiful vistas over the falls.

Love this hidden gem tucked away in Killarney. A must see for sure. Kids loved it and I was captivated by its beauty and natural splendor.

Went to Torc Waterfall one evening for a stroll around. Some lovely scenery to explore and have lunch if you pack a sandwich.

The walk through the tall forest to get to the Waterfall is something in itself as you're following the river bed to its source. But it is worth the walk, and if you're feeling adventurous you can continue up through the forest on a 2...More

Beautiful, but the midges can get thick in spots. Hike to the top is not for the feint of feet. But, you can make it.

We stopped because everyone stops. It was nice as waterfalls go. We didn't have time to take any of the walks, which probably would have been lovely. If you're just stopping to see the waterfall, don't. Get down to Innisfallen at Ross Castle.

How far is Waterfall from St Mary's Cathedral?

Response from Bethagee1 | Reviewed this property |
It's kinda on the other side of Killarney. Like the cathedral is in town and then Torc Waterfall is out past Muckross House in the park. Not terribly far though.
