The way from Torc to Derrycunnihy Church or Ladies View begins at the upper car park. This is a beautiful walk. However just be aware the other end is marshy and is covered by way of railway sleepers. The woods at each end are very...More

Torc is the little hill above the Falls. You can climb it by starting at the lower car park, taking in the waterfalls, or you can take the easier choice by joining from the upper car park in Muckross forrest. Not the most challenging of...More

I started at Torc Waterfall at Daybreak, ( be careful as the steps can be slippery) I headed over to Old Kenmare Road & back, so beautiful & peaceful.

Lots of steps with views at the top. It was a little crowded, but still a very beautiful spot. Parking was kind of an issue, but we waiting and found a place.

This hike is wonderful. Takes about an hour depending upon how much you stop to enjoy the scenery, take pictures, breath the fresh air... Doing this as well as the waterfall makes the whole trip more worth it.

We only walked to the waterfall and that is a delightful photo-op. Some continued up the trails but we turned and went back to our car.

I very much enjoyed our short hike to the waterfall. I loved hearing the water and listening to it cascade down the rocks. Very beautiful scenery and a very easy hike for most I would think.

Brilliant scenery, lovely climb to the top (if a little slippy in places). The waterfall itself is fantastic. Well worth a stop if you are going to Muckross House etc.

Depends on personal hiking condition. We made it in 70 minutes to the top. But we were of good speed. I would say up to 100 minutes is ok.
