Worth a stop if you happen to be driving past but it is not overly impressive --especially in light of the other amazing views nearby. I guess this site's claim to fame is that the Queen's Ladies in Waiting were taken here on a break from the Queen and they were impressed. Perhaps they needed to get out more as... More

Stopped here on a rainy day on our way to Cork. The scenery was very picturesque in spite of the grey day.

Despite the weather wasn't really at it's best this showed to be another great spot doing the ring of Kerry. It's really wonderful - never forget the camera :)

Ladies view is an iconic attraction in Kerry and I revisited it last week after almost 25 years. It still pulls at the heart strings and is just beautiful. It is now a much busier attraction than when I was a child but it is lovely to see so many tourists from abroad enjoying the beauty of its vistas. The... More

Ladies and gents will simply drink in the fresh air and the beauty. Take photos, but also take video. The scents of wild flowers, the birds in flight - just a beautiful setting well worthy of stopping for a picnic or exploring with a hike.

I find there is brooding magnificence to the whole scene when shrouded in cloud as we were the other day. Alternatively, the "Postcard" views are also possible, and certainly the reason most people make... More
