A beautiful setting, you can't go wrong visiting Ross Castle and viewing the lake. There is plenty of parking, and the walk along the paths is very enjoyable. Even with many people milling about, it doesn't seem all that crowded.

Wonderful place to paint a picture. The weather was perfect. The park employees were friendly and knowledgeable. Don't miss this gem.

The guided tour of this restored castle was well-paced, informative and thorough. I walked there but cars, bikes and horse-drawn carriages are other options.

Nice tour of a preserved castle, good information regarding history of the castle and how it was designed, and what it would have been like to live there.

My family and I stopped in to tour the castle before taking a jaunting cart ride. Our boys enjoyed touring the grounds and it was neat to read about the history of the castle.

The Ross Castle B&B is in Oldcastle County Meath and not the one in Killarney. There is a disclaimer in their website.
