I am so glad I decided to take the guided tour of inside the castle. It was informative, entertaining and inexpensive. If visiting Killarney I recommend visiting the castle grounds (free) and definitely taking part of the guided tour (€5).

The Ross Castle B&B is in Oldcastle County Meath and not the one in Killarney. There is a disclaimer in their website.

You cannot have any food or drink out during your tour however there are lovely areas outside to eat and enjoy the brilliant views.
