No time to visit the house, but really enjoyed a jaunting car ride around the extensive grounds, including a short stop to view the ancient monastic ruins.

Beautiful house with a grand history. Our guide was charming and informative. Wish that more of the house was open to the public, but understand the immense issues with renovations.

Good tour of house but get there early for time tickets (remember it is on the heritage card pass while the farms are not) House was going thru window renovations so a lot of scaffolding but has wonderful gardens.
